When I try to connect using WPA I see "Connecting to wireless network" screen count down all the way to 0 and then it gives the message "Problem: Cannot connect to wireless network. Press LEFT to go back, RIGHT to try again". If I press left and then switch to WPA2, and follow the same process it connects.
I also switched between the 6.5b1 and 6.2.1 slimservers using an ethernet connection. As expected, each time I switched I would also have to update the firmware by holding Brightness (switching between 28 and 37). With 28 I can connect wirelessly using WPA but not WPA2 and vice versa for 37. Previously I had firmware 35 with slimserver 6.5b1 and I could connect using WPA. I never tried WPA2 (hadn't realised that my router could support both simultaneously) so I don't know if that worked. Sean. P.S. I should have noted that I have tried a couple of factory resets but that doesn't change the result. -- smc2911 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ smc2911's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=4388 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=22838 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
