Quick question: SlimServer is both downloading and distributing an old version of SQLite.pm with their software, even on 6.5b1 nightlies. How can this be resolved?
Also, has anyone figured out why, when installing the RPM, creation of directory /usr/local/slimserver fails? ----- Okay, I'm flying ... The problem I had (#4 below) is fixed. It was more involved than just installing the new version of DBD::SQLite. It seems that #3 (build-perl-modules.pl) installed it's own version. So I had to: 1) Upgrade DBD::SQLite on my system (or perhaps not; I'm not sure what version came with the system), and 2) Rename /usr/local/slimserver/CPAN/DBD/SQLite.pm to something else. Restart SlimServer, and voila - it ran. The problem you asked about (shutdown) is a generic issue (I've seen that with some other software). The fundamental problem is that it appears certain functions no longer work by process name. I'll take a look at that and see if I can figure it out. -- Jeff -- Jeff ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Jeff's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=49 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=23258 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
