It installed fine on OpenSuSE 10. I uninstalled and reinstalled as I'd been running a nightly. Firmware upgrades all around (SB1G (it didn't ask), SB2, SB3, all wired). Uninstall and reinstall caused the AudioScrobbler tmp file to be locked up as it was owned by the old UID, and a new one got generated... I don't see a way around that, but it might be worth a %post macro. Best solution would be a nightly numbering scheme that doesn't look newer than the real releases, so rpm upgrading will just work.

Performance seems a bit snappier, but maybe I'm just thinking wishfully -- I've been noticing that performance was getting slower as my track count goes over 12K (already did MySQL).

Currently, 821 albums with 12392 songs by 878 artists. I don't use the web interface a lot for performance reasons, but use Fishbone when I do. This is an Athlon 2500+ with 1GB of RAM, VMWare and SpamAssassin are the real CPU hogs, slimserver and mysql just pop up when I'm doing a rescan.
