I'm in that position now.

6 x 250GB drives in RAID5 (1 configured as hot-spare).

So, around 1TB of storage.

I'd like to expand, but it's not easy without destroying the array and
re-building.

And like JJ says, where the heck do I put 1TB of data? !!!
