I think you are seeing the same problem that was being discussed in this

I don't think anyone knows what is going on with the repository at this
time.
I'll try and take a look at it sometime this weekend.
One solution for you could be to get the beta which is available in a
.deb package. They have very recently made a bunch of changes to the
beta so I recommend you get a slightly older version if you are looking
for something more stable. The deb file in this directory seems very
stable and is running fine on my Ubuntu install:

Correct - there's lots of changes happening right now. 6.5 is definitely
unstable at this point.
