I have te same issue, very similar log and empty left side of the webinterface.
I am running it on a newly installed "Kanotix 006 Easter pre 4" with kernel 2.6.16.16-kanotix-1. I can connect with the server with softqueeze, but library is empty and plugins are disabled. The connection is not stable.
