I'd be more concerned with the fact that the Linkstation (and Kuro Box) are a bit lean in the CPU/RAM department, and even though I'm running 6.2.2 with MySQL on my Kuro, I could imagine 6.5 would begin to reach the bounds of tolerability on the thing.
