OK, I changed the filename of one of the songs that didn't work, rescanned just that directory, and then it worked. But not only that, all the other songs that didn't work in that directory suddenly worked too.
So, I scanned my entire music library again and now everything works! Weird. TNX anyway P.S. I noticed one of the times in the logfile - just after I had restarted SlimServer (and apparently also MySQL) that it complained about not being able to commit changes to the DB because it hadn't started op completely yet.
