Word won't work but XP Notepad will do the trick. Personally I like EditPadPro because it handles the extensions well (doesn't try to rename your .m3u file as .txt - http://www.editpadpro.com/ Zten Wrote: > Yes, I do not follow this, so some suggestions on how to do it would be > great. If the pathnames are definitely right, may not be your issue, but if you want to check: Go to Server Settings in the WebUI, click on debugging, check the boxes that say d_scan and d_playlist and Change. Then at the top of the page open the logfile (word = "here" in yellow) in a new page. Then navigate back to Server Settings and try a playlists only rescan. Your log output may give a clue to where Slimserver is trying to look and where it's going wrong. As an example, I attach my playlists only scan output to show you what it might look like if things are working as they should (no snerky comments about the musical tastes please) ;-) Zten Wrote: > > Not sure what you mean here either. The file is in the Cache folder under Slimserver in program settings and is called slimserversql.db. If you delete it and restart Slimserver, it will build an entirely fresh database. Kind of a last resort.
