Verbatone, well I checked and I do have the stream forking enabled - which I vaguely remember doing a few days ago - and sure enough that is it. When I fired up two of my SBs at the same time I got a total of 3 instances of SS running.
Looking again at the option in the web UI it reads "Enabling this option will provide a dedicated process to serve each audio stream to the player". I was thinking it might be better if it said "...to serve the audio stream to each player".
