So far, so good. The library scan seemed to take longer than before the upgrade, but as I mentioned, at least I could play music during the scan. That could have been confounded by a codepage issue I still haven't resolved since moving to Debian on the LinkStation. The scan generated a lot of errors when it tried to read playlists with accented characters in the filenames. But I don't think that's a slimserver problem.
Just had it playing through one SB for a few hours and it seemed fine. I haven't noticed any major difference -- better or worse -- in response to the remote or web interface. Won't win any speed contests, but it's quick enough, especially using the remote. I haven't tried sync'ing SBs yet with the latest 6.5. On a side note, I was hoping that the upgrade from the older 6.5 would stop the Nokia skin from generating a lot of errors in the log that appear to do with PLUGIN_ALBUMREVIEW and PLUGIN_BIOGRAPHY, neither of which I use. -- aubuti ------------------------------------------------------------------------ aubuti's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2074 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=26468 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
