I tried to install expat as per your instruction. Istalled ok but still got same error.
I bit the bullet and followed the second link ftp://213.51.242.53/SS631LSII.rar and installed from your script. Screenfuls of text followed, a new password was requested (and given). Some time later the puttytel window vanished and the telnet connection was dropped. I assume the installation worked ok but I have no way of telling since I am no longer able to connect to the LS2 using puttytel - unable to connect to host 192.168.0.150 on port 23. Device is still visible on windows network so it is not a brick but I'm now worried that I have moved a giant step back and lost root login. Help please before I dispair!
