Well, I don't really know what MusicMagic IP is. I seem to have a plugin
called MusicMagic but the only thing I can control is a port number.

Anyway, I think the problem has something to do with Slimserver
reporting the wrong codepage.

This is what I get as a bottom line on the Server homepage:
SlimServer Version: 6.3.1 - 8476 - Debian - EN - iso-8859-1
whilst it should be:
SlimServer Version: 6.3.1 - 8476 - Debian - EN - utf8

The problem is I don't know why slimserver thinks the code page is
iso-8859-1 when ubuntu locale reports this :
LANG=en_GB.UTF-8
LANGUAGE=en_GB:en
LC_CTYPE="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_NUMERIC="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_MONETARY="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_MESSAGES="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_PAPER="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_NAME="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_ADDRESS="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_GB.UTF-8"
LC_ALL=

I'll have to look at the perl code (but understand very little perl).
