1. Even though the option "writable" is enabled, i cant copy files from
xp to linux - but i can delete files on the linux machine from xp.

Be sure you have the right to write to that folder within Linux (not only root). You'll have to mount the disk with the appropriate permissions and with the rw (read-write) flag. Can you write to the folder as user dsl?

2. If I change the path to "sda1" (external hdd attached to the linux
machine) it wont let me in (the path is not available).

Is this because the sda1 uses the nfts filesystem?

IMHO ntfs is read-only for now.

NB! There's no problem to access the sda1 from the linux machine.

Just noticed one line in your smb.conf:

path = /mnt/sda1/music lib
                     ^^^

Is there really a space? Can you get rid of it? This might be an additional problem. While Windows and Linux both can handle "special characters" like this, they don't handle it the same way. To prevent problems just don't use them to get started. You can still try to add additional obstacles later :-)
