I think I may be onto something here with this. Here's output from faad -i on one of the 'slow' files in question: 02_Jambi.m4a file info: LC AAC 450.291 secs, 2 ch, 48000 Hz
Slimserver states this: File Format: Apple AAC, Lossless or Movie File ... Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz Maybe something's just sending it as 44.1 to faad in the first place? I don't have many of these files, but it's not entirely fun not being able to play this album on the slimp3.
