And this package (libyaml-syck-perl) is not available for stable Debian. "you can just install the packages" is such a joke. Well, do it, and you'll wreck your machine like I just did. First those silly dependencies, and when you just tell it to ignore libyaml-syck-perl and install anyway, it gets started, but uses 99% CPU now for 15 minutes. Of course no web interface yet, nor any useful log file. Why is there even a /var/log/slimserver if it's just empty after months of use of the software?
And lets not forget those 24 hours to rescan the database, something mt-daapd can do on the same machine in about 7 minutes. It's really getting time that Roku finally supports WPA. Why not at least keep the old version available that was there once? That way, people silly enough to fall for the 6.5.1 hype would have something to step back to! -- Blubbels ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Blubbels's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=6728 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=27901 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
