Hi Folks, I've now got AlienBBC working on Kubuntu. I installed with adept and had pre7. This caused my AlienBBC live stream to stop at 4 minutes 10 secs. I looked about and found that a fix has been sorted with later versions of Mplayer. After lots of hard work due to small brain I eventually configured and installed the RC1 version of mplayer. I am now at 3 hours 44 minutes and counting. I have also put in some new skins and what a difference. I'll always be a gui user I'm afraid.
If anyone needs a help from a bandit then i'm your man. Top tip when compiling with make and make install, it is two commands and use sudo before to ensure there is access to all folders.
