I'm trying to figure out how to run multiple instances of softsqueeze. The problem I can't figure out is how to tell softsqueeze to use a different audio device.
I've creaded several PCM devices in ALSA, (each being a stereo pair of my 5.1 audio card) so that I get 3 stereo pairs. Eventhough I can access each pcm device from any other linux audio software (aplay, xmms) and all works perfectly, I cannot select the different PCM devices from Softsqueeze. I even tried the command line option -Daudio.mixer="blab", but I get an error saying that the specified mixer is not available. Anyone else try something similar?
