Dear MsHapf,

I have had a look at your entries on the Thecus wiki.

http://onbeat.dk/thecus/index.php/N2100_Module:_SLIMSRV

I am currently looking around for a NAS that is a good compromise
between Mhz/Ram and fan noise. I am currently very interested by the
Thecus Yes box (raid 0/1!). I have a Transporter, so I need to be able
to run Slimserver 6.5 and more.
I seem to understand that you have been working on the 6.5 module for
the Thecus, but then encountered problems of sorts: what is the state
of development? Will you have any time in future to dedicate to the
development of the module or have you had to give it up?

More generally, from your own perspective as Yesbox user: How noisy is
the the Thecus in everyday use? Can it be kept in a living room (so say
25-35 db max)?

thank you in advance, hope you find the time to answer some of these
questions.

Regards,

Giacomo
