I'm having a little trouble with a new CentOS 4.4 installation. I can start and stop SS with /etc/init.d/slimserver/start and /stop, but it won't autostart when Linux is rebooted, and it's not reading my music library. I can scan and play individual albums (Browse | Music Folder) and can use the Sirius Plugin (love it!) but it just doesn't scan the music library.
So I tried starting SS with /usr/local/slimserver/slimserver.pl - Now I'm getting an error message but it isn't helping me debug my problem: 2007-04-17 07:04:47.6389 ERROR: scanRemoteURL: Can't connect to remote server to retrieve playlist: 401 Unauthorized My music files are in /usr/local/slimserver/Music which is chown'ed to slimserver:slimserver and chmod'ed to 777. What "remote server" is SS not finding? -- woodp ------------------------------------------------------------------------ woodp's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=107 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=34538 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
