Have you tried SoftSqueeze? Much better than stream.mp3. You need Java to run it. Load the SlimServer web page, then go to Help - SoftSqueeze. If you're looking for something like Winamp, try xmms. Even looks like older versions of Winamp. But SoftSqueeze is like having a Squeezebox in your PC.
