I have some old .m3u playlist and Slim-Server just would not use them. I
have them in the music folders with the riped Disc.

So in Slim-Server I told it a folder were I have all my playlist. A
folder nameed playlist. I put the playlist in there. Resanded for
playlist. It found the name but not songs it's all blank.

I open it in TextPad. It all looks right to me. So I used Slim-Server
and made the same play list in it. This time I just named it with a _
not a space so just the file name was not the same. I looked at them
both in TextPad They both look the same. It don't change. But
Slim-Server sees the one it made with the _. Here is a ls -l of the
playlist folder:

ls -l
total 16
-rwxr--r-- 1 Raymond Raymond 4798 May 18 08:59 Ray picks Soft
Rock.m3u
-rwxr--r-- 1 Raymond Raymond 2338 Aug 15 2005 Rays Picks.m3u
-rwxr--r-- 1 Raymond Raymond 1156 May 18 12:29 Rays_Picks.m3u

I can see that the old one is bigger in file size but in TextPad they
look just the same. Why don't Slim-Server see the files in "Rays
Packs.m3u" but does see them in the one it made "Rays_Picks.m3u" It
must be something with the size. I don't know why the size it off like
that they both look the same.

I like to just put all my old .m3u playlist in the folder were I told
Slim-Server were they are but it don't work with them. I don't know
why.
