Sorry, I did not write that properly. The files I am trying to play are ALAC.
When browsing on SS I can add them to a list, but they will not play. On SB, I can browse to them, but get the message "problem with file" or something that affect. I guess I can't swear to it, as I have not had my SB that long, but I would guess that while in XP I was able to play ALAC with SB.
