Hi, Slimserver 6.5.3 is on adept. The repositories are different to the testing rep. You could experiment by using adept although the recommended way on the slimserver web site still seems to be by using the slimserver rep. If you try this and break things don't blame me!! If things go ** up then I have removed and reinstalled satisfactorily.
At the end of the day I haven't noticed much of a change and you may consider not messing if it ain't broke.
