I don't have much Linux experience, I've had a couple of Live CD from (X)Ubuntu and another one I can't remember. Now, with SlimServer, I choose ClarkConnect. I just installed a second time (new drives), it takes three minutes on my VIA CN mini-itx system. After that it's just login in from one of my windows boxes by webinterface. I love it!
