late follow-up: updated to slimserver-6.5.2, still same error.
I have no idea where the "./slimserver/years.frm" come from. When I
start manually the slimserver with my user and no option, it creates it
in $HOME/Cache.
I tried several combinations of options, it seems that the "--user
slimserver" option could be the culprit. I added the --diag, here is
what it says:
