Check if lame is on the "path"

Open a shell prompt.  Type in 
lame -h

If you get a lot of help message then your problem is NOT with lame. If
you do not get the help message, then re-install lame.  Save the output
from the install so that if it still does not work, post the output for
other to make suggestions.
