That's great news, and very timely for me. Yesterday I converted my Kurobox from Gentoo to Ubuntu, and struggled for a couple of hours to get SlimServer installed from the tarball. I ended up rolling back to the Gentoo install, because SlimServer wouldn't behave. Kinda embarrassing really!
