Hi Mick I'm using Perl 5.8.8, and ran build-perl-modules just in case. I managed to locate auto/Compress/Zlib/autosplit.ix in a Perl 5.8 multi-thread folder (not in $INC) and copied it across to an $INC directory. I now only have the GD issue to resolve. I've seen something in the forum recently about the GD problem and need to do some more research.
