I'am running etch debian (unstable) , with slimserver 7.0. It was
running fine untill i did a apt-get update (needed some new packages,
so just did the whole lot) system itself is not that vital.

So i tried reinstalling slimserver, i get the same messages. I went
back to the stable release and it does exactly the same. Also removed
everything i could find on the system owned by slimserver... and still
have this issue.

Is there a way to see why the mysql server wont start up? Since i think
this is the main issue (slimserver.log says it cant connect to the db,
so not much info in there)

Thanks for any advice/help.
