Hi everyone, I have a ubuntu mini itx server just to serve my music
which runs headless. I always turn my server off remotely when not
using my SB. A few times after powering it up and playing my first
track the slimserver has lost connection during the first song and the
music stops. I have noticed there is a lot of disk activity on the
remote server when this happens, so I think it has done a security
update and automatically rebooted itself. After this the SB comes back
to life again and there are no more problems that day. I would like to
know how to prevent this from happening if possible, is there anyway of
preventing an automatic reboot of the computer?

For information I use ubuntu gutsy, I have all software update sources
enabled and get my server to check for updates once a week and to only
prompt about updates.

Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks in advance, Mark.
