I know what you mean and how you feel -- but I would suggest you move past
it.  There's nothing wrong with using wine to run a best-of-breed
application like mp3tag.  Best tool for the job and all...  Sure, it would
be nice to have mp3tag running 'native' but it runs so well under wine that
it almost feels native.  I was amazed at how well things like the file
browser worked.  Wine has improved so much in the past six months you're
starting to see Linux run many Windows applications *better* than Windows
itself.  Imagine where we'll be in a year or so, unless everyone starts
making their applications Vista-specific (unlikely at the moment).
