Is the 4Gb flash not a bit of a overkill ;-)
I'm using a HP t5700 Thin Client running FreeNAS from the internal
256Mb Flash ROM and have attached a 250Gb HDD to the UDB port (but's
it's only USB 1.1 so it is very SLOW).
How did you mount you Synology drive as a partition.
