I installed Slimserver 6.5.4 on Ubuntu 10.7 without any problems, and the startup script was set up for me automatically. Slimserver worked exactly as expected....except I noticed that folder names and artists, song titles, and other info with accents weren't displayed properly.
Searching for a solution, I installed libgd-gd2-perl and, after restarting Slimserver, saw that the foreign characters were properly displayed. After rebooting, however, the problem came back. If I restart Slimserver, the problem disappears. Is there something wrong with the installation package's startup script that causes this behavior? Any clear fix? Thx.... -- SFdrifter ------------------------------------------------------------------------ SFdrifter's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=2154 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=43483 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
