Ripfactory,

Thank you very much for your kind offer. I have however downloaded
everything by just using the manual method of clicking on all the
links:)

Pale Blue Ego,

I can certainly try using wget, but since Gwget is the GUI for wget, I
doubt there will be any change in behavior in the back-end. To be sure,
I am trying it now as I type this. Sure enough, wget is downloading the
.aspx file. ..... trying cURL - same result.

If I click on one of these .aspx links, or copy-paste it into firefox's
URL field, a popup appears that correctly asks me if I want to download
a FLAC audio file. An example of what one of these links looks like:

http://download.linnrecords.com/dd57d079-*****************-f7a79cf02145/8-Evangelista-Jesus-Da-das-Jesus-merkete.aspx
(link has been changed to protect the innocent)

If however, I send such a link to the download manager, what actually
downloads is the .aspx file! The redirection or interpretation of this
link that is desired no longer occurs.

Is there a command line option for wget that would fix this? I am
looking at its option list, and I don't see anything that would do the
trick.

I have not tried installing and running "free download manager" under
wine yet. I guess I am going to have to do that.

-Ron
