Ripfactory, Thank you very much for your kind offer. I have however downloaded everything by just using the manual method of clicking on all the links:)
Pale Blue Ego, I can certainly try using wget, but since Gwget is the GUI for wget, I doubt there will be any change in behavior in the back-end. To be sure, I am trying it now as I type this. Sure enough, wget is downloading the .aspx file. ..... trying cURL - same result. If I click on one of these .aspx links, or copy-paste it into firefox's URL field, a popup appears that correctly asks me if I want to download a FLAC audio file. An example of what one of these links looks like: http://download.linnrecords.com/dd57d079-*****************-f7a79cf02145/8-Evangelista-Jesus-Da-das-Jesus-merkete.aspx (link has been changed to protect the innocent) If however, I send such a link to the download manager, what actually downloads is the .aspx file! The redirection or interpretation of this link that is desired no longer occurs. Is there a command line option for wget that would fix this? I am looking at its option list, and I don't see anything that would do the trick. I have not tried installing and running "free download manager" under wine yet. I guess I am going to have to do that. -Ron -- Ron F. *Squeezebox setup:* wireless SB3 -> CI Audio VDA.2 DAC + VAC.1 PSU *Main rig:* NAD 7600 + NAD 2600A -> Phase Tech PC-6.5 speakers *Headphone rig:* Headroom Max -> Sennheiser 650s *Music Server:* Nano-ITX computer running SlimCD + 750 GByte HDD -> Netgear wireless router *Other stuff:* NAD C542 CDP, NAD 6300 Tape, Monster 5100 Power conditioner, Outlaw Audio cables ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Ron F.'s Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=5616 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=45421 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
