Hmm... Is this really FC4 as the kernel version suggests? FC4 shipped with perl 5.8.6. Did you compile and install perl 5.8.8 yourself? AFAIK, older versions of Fedora installed perl under /usr/lib/perl/ as the SC RPM expects.
