And everything working as it should however: I have now installed MusicIP on the machine, however I can't keep it running. This is how I get it running with PUTTY using the installed file path:
login as:root root @ xxx.xxx.x.x password: xxx [EMAIL PROTECTED]:/usr/share/MusicIP/MusicMagicMixer/MusicMagicServer start Starting server on port 10002 Everything fine so far as long as I leave the PUTTY session open, as soon as I close the session the MusicMagicServer stops running and on the web interface all I am left with is CANNOT CONNECT TO SERVER and to get it to run again I have to login again and run the above command. I am sure that this is something simple but after a day of trying to work it out, including changing file permissions so everyone has full access to MusicMagicServer, I am still no better off. There is not much point in having a headless server if I have to keep my other machine running to keep the MusicMagicServer running. I hope someone here can help me out with this problem.
