Hi, this has been brought up in other threads several times. But I think my problem is slightly different??? My apologies therefore if you think that this doesn't deserve its own thread. Also it is very well possible that I just have overlooked some settings.
a) if the name of an album contains non-US characters I can not see the album at all in squeezecenter. The album name is also the folder name under which I have saved the songs. The songs itself are also tagged with the album name b) if the name of a song contains non-US characters the album is there in squeezecenter, however, it appears to be empty - there are no songs displayed, not even songs which consist only of US characters. My system: Linux, CentOS 5.0, locale set to en-US.UTF-8 (on the level of the shell all special characters display correctly!!!)
