Try doing a purge of the squeezecenter and mysql-server-5.0 packages,
and make sure that all of the /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld* files
are gone.

Then you should be able to re-install squeezecenter from the 
http://debian.slimdevices.com stable repository.

I'm running 8.04 Ubuntu + 7.0.1 squeezecenter stable.
