Has anyone successfully run Squeezecenter 7.0.1 on FreeBSD? I am having problems with my Squeezebox Controller and Squeezebox 2 that make me want to upgrade to 7.0.1 to see if the problems go away. *My SBC cannot find my SB2 when using SC 7.0*. I did get Squeezecenter 7.0 to install and run on 6.2-RELEASE-p3 using ports by manually downloading squeezecenter-7.0-noCPAN.tgz to /usr/ports/distinfo/squeezecenter. However, when I substitute 7.0.1 source in /usr/local/squeezecenter, it will not start:

I'm a pretty savvy UNIX guy who as delved into the ports system before, so any general pointers or strategies to resolve these library dependencies would go a long way. I used Slimserver for years with my SB2 on FreeBSD without problems. -- jakepunk ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jakepunk's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=18183 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48942 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
