Yes, it's a beautiful thing! I'm accessing this forum using Ubuntu on my laptop which arrived to me from Dell with Vista installed. I loaded up the Ubuntu live CD, chose to install it, and was walked through the process of shrinking the existing NTFS partition. I split my partition in half. It was all very easy. GRUB works great. You can easily edit the menu.lst file to change which OS boots by default and how long of a delay there is before booting the default OS. -- maggior ------------------------------------------------------------------------ maggior's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=9080 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=48998 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
