Copy the files into /usr/local/bin, and make sure that squeezeslave.bin
is executable.

open a terminal and type:

/usr/local/bin/squeezeslave --retry --signal

This assumes that your SC is on the local machine (localhost)

A word of caution, I don't use squeezeslave on my ClarkeConnect machine
as it does not have a working audio card; however I have it running
successfully on ubuntu.

BTW you don't need java for squeezeslave.

Good luck
