I tried what you suggested: # rm -rf /var/lib/squeezecenter/cache/ # rm -rf /var/lib/squeezecenter/prefs/ # service squeezecenter start Starting SqueezeCenter: Use of uninitialized value in join or string at /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 81. Use of uninitialized value in pattern match (m//) at /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Utils/Prefs.pm line 269. [ OK ] # /sbin/service squeezecenter status squeezecenter-server (pid 4826 4783) is running... # /sbin/service squeezecenter status squeezecenter-server (pid 4826 4783) is running... # /sbin/service squeezecenter status squeezecenter-server (pid 4826 4783) is running... # /sbin/service squeezecenter status squeezecenter-server is stopped
As you can see, it looks like the squeezecenter daemon starts then stops pretty quickly (from OK to the last line was about 5 seconds). Also, I was merely trying to give info about what changes I made around the time I noticed the problem. There were also some other system changes I installed with pup, too, I just thought since WordPress and Squeezecenter are the only things using MySql that it might be related. Thanks for the suggestions, got any more? Should I maybe post the lines /usr/lib/perl5/5.8.8/File/Spec/Unix.pm line 81 and /usr/lib/perl5/vendor_perl/Slim/Utils/Prefs.pm line 269 ? -- sideshowmel ------------------------------------------------------------------------ sideshowmel's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=15941 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=50116 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
