I just noticed a similar problem to the one described in this thread. I upgraded to Ubuntu 8.04 a couple of weeks ago and havent had any problems - other than I have to run with kernel 2.6.22-14-386. Today I upgraded Squeezecenter from 7.1 to 7.2 and got the error:
/var/lib/dpkg/info/squeezecenter.postinst: 74: /etc/init.d/apparmor: not found I tried installing apparmor, apparmor-utils but couldnt start apparmor as these packages doesnt seem to be compatible with my kernel (?). Googling arround I found this hint: Patch for bug #7580. We check if /etc/apparmor.d/usr.sbin.mysqld exists, and if it does we modify it to include our squeezecenter mysql directory. I then uninstalled apparmor and renamed the directory /etc/apparmor.d to /etc/apparmor.d.backup, tried upgrading again (apt-get upgrade) and the upgrade finished without errors (my SB3 now displays 7.2 as server version). -- kbang ------------------------------------------------------------------------ kbang's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=7511 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=46614 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
