Thanks, that appears to have taken care of business on my side as well.
As help for other folks who, like me, may not have had the base dbix
classes installed (and there appeared to be another dependency on
dbix-migration) I also had to run this to get the files on my system.
Code:
--------------------
apt-get install libdbix-class-perl libdbix-migration-perl
--------------------
With that and your instructions I was good to go.
It certainly appears that the DBIx libraries that they're shipping
inside the package aren't compatible with the Perl version in the more
current Debian releases as remd mentioned. I am running 5.10.0-13 and I
suspect that'll be the common issue for the folks looking at this
thread.
I'm a SqueezeCenter newbie so this might be a silly question but do we
know why they wouldn't just add a dependency on those packages rather
than carrying their own version? I imagine that there's a bunch of
stuff in that CPAN directory that could be pulled direct from the
source (whether it be Debian packages or stuff from other
distributions).
Also, any idea why the transaction processing stuff that you commented
out isn't working? Doesn't seem to affect the actual function, just
curious.
Thanks again...
