Assumping you have used Synaptic package manager.

Update for full releases will only be delivered if you have configured
to use "stable" (i.e. deb http://debian.slimdevices.com stable main )

Nightly updates (i.e. minor bug fixes) to a release will only be
delivered if you have configured to use "testing" ( i.e. deb
http://debian.slimdevices.com testing main)

Nightly updates to the development version (i.e. may not work) ill
only be delivered if you have configured to use "unstable" (i.e. deb
http://debian.slimdevices.com unstable main)

The package manager will handle the update if an update is available.
See

http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/DebianPackage

To get 7.2.1 as it is not released - you need to configure to use
"testing"
