Thanks for all the ideas. My original sources.list had slimdevices at the top and didn't work. Tried it again just to make sure, no go. I tried to install mysql 5.0 per the suggestion - here is the output.. Seems to keep wanting only the dev versions...
sudo apt-get install mysql-server-5.0 mysql-client-5.0 libmysqlclient15-dev Reading package lists... Done Building dependency tree Reading state information... Done mysql-server-5.0 is already the newest version. mysql-client-5.0 is already the newest version. Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable distribution that some required packages have not yet been created or been moved out of Incoming. The following information may help to resolve the situation: The following packages have unmet dependencies: libmysqlclient15-dev: Depends: zlib1g-dev but it is not going to be installed E: Broken packages -- spc337 ------------------------------------------------------------------------ spc337's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=14315 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53561 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
