Check in /etc/apparmor.d/ for files called something like
"usr.sbin.mysqld". If there are several files starting with that name,
e.g. usr.sbin.mysqld-{backup|squeezecenter} etc. move those files
somewhere else such that only usr.sbin.mysqld is left. Reboot and see
if it works.
