Cool! Great work you did there! One thing I noticed: the download link on the upper left of the page works fine but the link in the text frame itself misses the "takecover" part of the URL.
Maybe just a hint regarding the question of storage location or "tag vs. artwork file": I am not so familiar with metaflac and other formats than mp3/id3 in general but for example in mp3tag (I am running Linux exclusively but it runs extremely well under wine) it is fairly easy to use the scripting/action feature of the program to store artwork from a given file structure into the id3 artwork tags for each file. Of course, it is easier to organize/script when the files are already existing in a kind of <music root>/<artist>/<album> directory structure...
