OK, eventually this was bugging me too much. Realised that not all environment variables are available to crontab. So, I edited S99squeezecenter to include a call to /etc/profile i.e.
# System startup script for the SlimServer. # get site config . /etc/profile . /opt/etc/squeezecenter.conf I can now play .m4a files after a system restart without manual intervention. -- Andy Cudlip ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Andy Cudlip's Profile: http://forums.slimdevices.com/member.php?userid=19672 View this thread: http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=53256 _______________________________________________ unix mailing list [email protected] http://lists.slimdevices.com/lists/listinfo/unix
